Racine of Genesis (AHR 32749-13) was born on May 6th, 2013.
Racine is sired by the imported, AHR GOLD Classified, 3-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’, Alfa of Genesis.
Racine’s dam is Reagan TOF. Reagan is sired from frozen semen from the European World Champion stallion, Anthony, and out of the great-producing mare, Rivella TOF. Rivella TOF bears little introduction. Rivella was imported from Austria by Tudor Oaks Farm. When she was 2-years-old, she was named Junior National Champion Mare. When Rivella was a 4-year-old, in 2000, she won her first National Champion Mare title. She then went on to claim this title two more additional times, in 2001 and then again in 2003. Rivella was also the winner of the Haflinger Breed Class at Dressage at Devon in 1999, the first year that the class was ever offered. In the year 2000, Rivella was AHR inspected and classified as GOLD. Rivella is also the dam to one of Genesis Farm’s other broodmares, Raphael Rose TOF.
Racine’s show ring debut was at the 2013 AHR National Show. At a mere 4 months of age, Racine attended the show and impressed us all with her excellent behavior and attentive ‘ready to please’ show ring performance. Racine was the 1st place weanling filly at the 2013 AHR National Show and went on to be named the ‘2013 Reserve Junior National Champion Filly’. At the AHR Futurity the following month, Racine was 3rd place in the Junior Weanling Filly class (1st place was won by her stable-mate, Limited Edition of Genesis) and went on to be 5th out of over 20 entries in the very competitive pleasure SIP class. Racine’s placement in this class helped her sire, Alfa of Genesis, to be awarded his second ever AHR ‘Stallion of the Year’ title in 2013.
