Raphael Rose TOF
Raphael Rose TOF (AHR 15091-00) is the result of the very first AHR “Gold on Gold” cross by the well known AHR GOLD classified stallion, Aristocrat TOF, and out of the AHR GOLD classified mare, Rivella TOF. Raphael’s sire, Aristocrat TOF, bears little introduction. Aristocrat was imported from Austria in 1993 and is one of only two AHR GOLD classified stallions and is also a former AHR National Champion stallion. Aristocrat TOF is descended from the strongest and easily the most outstanding mare line in Europe, most notably: Rikka (his grand-dam), Rialta (his dam), and Rimalda (his full sister). Based on the performance of his offspring at AHR inspections, siring to date two gold classified offspring and 13 silver classified offspring, he has also earned the distinction of being an “Elite” status stallion according to the AHR. Only Aristocrat and one of our own herd stallions, Arno van het Nieshof, have ever earned the ‘Elite’ distinction. Raphael’s dam, Rivella TOF, also bears little introduction. Rivella was imported from Austria by Tudor Oaks Farm. When she was 2-years-old, she was named Junior National Champion Mare. When Rivella was a 4-year-old, in 2000, she won her first National Champion Mare title. She then went on to claim this title two more additional times, in 2001 and then again in 2003. Rivella was also the winner of the Haflinger Breed Class at Dressage at Devon in 1999, the first year that the class was ever offered. In the year 2000, Rivella was AHR inspected and classified as GOLD. “Raphael” was the 1st place weanling filly at the 2000 AHR National Show out of a very large field of entries. She also was the 1st place AHR Futurity Filly and then went on to be named AHR Futurity ‘Champion Weanling’. In 2001, Raphael was the 1st place Yearling Filly at the AHR National Show and also the ‘Reserve Junior National Champion Mare’. Since that time, Raphael had not been shown on the haflinger circuit. In July of 2009, at 9 years of age, Raphael was classified silver through the AHR Inspection and Classification system. She spent the summer doing a few performance classes at the shows with Michele, in which she placed quite well, and then in the fall she retired out to the broodmare field. Since 2009, Raphael has been bred to our imported two-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’ and four-time AHR ‘Stallion of the Year’, Arno van het Nieshof. We were anxious to see what this mare, a product of an AHR “Gold on Gold” cross, would produce when bred to Arno, who himself is the only highly decorated AHR ‘SUPREME STATUS’ stallion in North America. The results of this cross clearly met with all of our expectations!! Raphael Rose TOF has produced: In January 2010, Raphael gave birth to ‘Rendezvous of Genesis’. ‘Rhonda’, as she was affectionately called around the barn, brought home her share of awards during her first summer as a weanling on the show circuit for Genesis Farm. Rhonda was the 1st place Weanling Filly at the GLHA Futurity, going on to be named ‘Champion Weanling’ at the show. She also won the ‘Stallion Service Invitational’ class on Arno’s behalf. At the 2010 AHR National Show, Rhonda was the ‘1st place weanling filly’. At the AHR Futurity...

Ariel TOF (26146-05) is a resident broodmare at Genesis Farm. Ariel’s sire was the Dutch imported stallion, Where’s Waldo van de Bloemendaal. Where’s Waldo was sired by the renown Dutch stallion, Wallenstein, who was a Dutch National Champion and who himself is sired by the great world-renown stallion, Winterstein. Where’s Waldo stood at Tudor Oaks Farm in Barrington Hills, Illinois, where Ariel was conceived and later born. Ariel’s dam, Ariffa TOF, is herself an Austrian imported mare. Ariffa was the highest selling filly at the sale in Ebbs, Austria in 1998 where she was purchased by Tudor Oaks Farm and later imported into the United States. Ariffa’s sire is Alpenstein, who was the Reserve World Champion Stallion. Ariffa has a very strong maternal line. Her dam, Allegra, has produced some distinctive and decorated foals in Austria. In fact, Ariffa has two full sisters in Austria, Amika and Askona, who both have claimed some prestigious European titles of their own. In 2000, Ariffa was named the AHR ‘Junior National Champion Filly’ and went on to be named the AHR ‘Reserve National Champion Mare’. In 2002, she was the AHR ‘Senior National Champion Mare’ and went on to be named the AHR ‘Grand National Champion Mare’. Ariffa was AHR Silver Classified with 79 points. Ariel’s maternal half-sister, Angel of Trisanna TOF, who is out of Ariffa TOF but sired by Walzertakt TOF, was AHR GOLD Classified in 2006. Angel was the only horse to be AHR GOLD classified that year. Both sisters, Angel and Ariel, reside at Genesis Farm. Unfortunately, due to a high fever caused by a systemic bacterial infection Ariel contracted as a 2-year-old, she was badly foundered before she came to live at Genesis Farm. The foundering rendered her unable to be AHR classified or to be used in any serious performance venues due to the changes it created in her tendons and hooves. However, she is still able to function normally on a daily basis in the pasture and to be bred and we believe that her genetics will be influential in Genesis Farm’s breeding program. Like her sister, Ariel is a stunning mare and her sweet disposition is apparent from the moment you first meet her. She is one of the first mares to greet you at the gate and check your pockets for snacks. Our intention is to capitalize on Ariel’s genetics by breeding to her to our AHR GOLD Classified, 3-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’, Alfa of Genesis. Ariel has produced: Aurelia of Genesis in 2012. Aurelia was 2nd place in the competitive AHR Junior Weanling Filly class and went on to be named Reserve Junior Weanling Champion. In the competitive SIP class, she took 4th place out of over 20 entries. Her ¾ sister out of Angel of Trisanna and Alfa of Genesis was the Junior Champion Weanling and 3rd place in the competitive SIP class. There were only 2 foals sired by Alfa at the entire show and to stand 3rd and 4th place in the class was remarkable and a tribute to the genetic selection we made in breeding this cross. Avion of Genesis in 2013. Avion was the 1st place Junior Weanling colt at the AHR Futurity, despite being the youngest foal in the class because he was born in...

Bred to Gold Classified Niagara YES for a 2015 foal! Angel of Trisanna TOF (21379-02) is an AHR GOLD classified mare. Angel’s sire is the Austrian stallion, Walzertakt, who stood in the United States for two years while he was on loan from Austria. While in the U.S., Walzertakt became the sire of many notable offspring and Angel is one of them. Angel’s dam, Ariffa TOF, is herself an Austrian imported mare. In 2002, she was the AHR ‘Senior National Champion Mare’ and went on to be named the AHR ‘Grand National Champion Mare’. She is AHR Silver Classified with 79 points. Angel was AHR GOLD Classified in 2006. Angel was the only horse to be AHR GOLD classified that year. Angel is a stunning mare. We purchased her as an addition to Genesis Farm with the intent on breeding her to our AHR GOLD Classified stallion, Alfa of Genesis, to produce Gold x Gold crosses. We have high hopes for the product(s) of this cross! Angel of Trisanna TOF has produced: Andromeda of Genesis in 2012. Andromeda was the AHR Futurity Junior Weanling Champion and stood 3rd out of over 20 entries in the competitive pleasure SIP. Her ¾ sister out of Ariel TOF and Alfa of Genesis, took Reserve Junior Weanling Champion and stood 4th in the competitive pleasure SIP class. These were the only two Alfa foals in the entire class so for them to stand 3rd and 4th place out of over 20 entries was remarkable. Autobahn of Genesis in 2013. Autobahn, despite being a May foal, was the 3rd place colt in the Junior Weanling Colt class and stood 9th out of over 20 entries in the competitive pleasure SIP. His ¾ brother out of Ariel and Alfa of Genesis, was 1st place in the same Junior Weanling Colt class, took Junior Weanling Champion and then stood 2nd out of over 20 entries in the pleasure SIP class....

Niagara YES (AHR 31517-10) is a promising young stallion that is currently standing at Genesis Farm. Niagara, whose nickname around the barn is “Slim”, was sired from frozen semen imported from Europe. His sire is the talented German stallion, Notting Hill, and he is out of the mare Loreta NTF. Notting Hill stands at the renowned farm, Haflingers of Karlsbad, in Germany. He is the premier sire in all of Germany and he has claimed numerous European Championships. In fact, in 2013, Notting Hill won the Senior Non-Austrian-Owned Stallion Division at the Ebbs Hengestering. Notting Hill himself is sired by the great producing stallion, Nabucco. Nabucco is the premier N-line stallion in Austria and has sired many prominent sires throughout the world. Notting Hill’s dam is Riva, who is sired by Andrit. She has produced many superior offspring, including Notting Hill himself, Rivella TOF and other approved stallions and classified mares both in Europe and the United States. Loreta NTF was owned by Twin Birch Farm in New York at the time of Slim’s conception. She is sired by the great stallion, Amadeus, who was the former World Champion Stallion and is one of the best producing stallions in the history of the haflinger breed. She is also a full sister to the prominent breeding stallion, Avalon, who stands in Austria. Slim combines superior breeding with excellent conformation and terrific movement that are not to be outdone by his super personality. We would like to thank Twin Birch Farm, Dirk and Karen Young, for allowing Slim to become a part of Genesis Farm. At Slim’s 2010 show ring debut at the AHR Futurity with Genesis Farm, he was the 1st place Senior Weanling Pleasure Colt and went on to be named ‘Reserve Senior Champion Weanling’. He also placed 4th out of 23 entries in the competitive SIP Weanling Pleasure class. Slim’s first appearance of 2011 was the AHR National Show held in September in Springfield, Ohio. Slim won the ‘Yearling Stallion’ halter class and went on to be named the ‘2011 AHR National Champion Stallion’. This was an impressive title to be awarded to such a young stallion when so many other mature stallions were also present at the show but winning such a title was definitely a testament to the bright future of this fine young gentleman! At the 2011 AHR Futurity, Slim again took home a blue ribbon for Genesis Farm. Slim was the 1st place Yearling Stallion in a competitive class. At the 2012 AHR National Show, Slim won the ‘Stallion 3 and Over’ class and went on to be named the 2012 ‘Reserve National Champion Stallion’ (he was placed in Reserve only to another Genesis Farm horse, Accolade of Genesis. At the 2012 AHR Futurity, Slim won the ‘2-year-old Stallion’ halter class out of a competitive field of entries and then went on to be named the 2012 AHR Futurity ‘Champion 2-year-old’. The fall of 2013 proved to be a very influential time in Slim’s life. Slim represented Genesis Farm at the 2013 AHR National Show and secured his second ‘Reserve National Champion Stallion’ title. The very next day, he attended the AHR Inspection and Classification where he was given 81 points and received a GOLD rating. This means that Slim became only the THIRD...

Avion’s golden metallic color comes from both his sire and his dam, who each boast the eye-catching copper sheen. He is quiet and personable with lofty movement and a fancy petite dished Arabian-like head. Avion’s show ring debut was at the 2013 AHR Futurity. Although as a June foal, he was the youngest competitor in the class, he won the blue ribbon in the Junior Weanling Colt class and went on to be named ‘Junior Champion Weanling’. As a side-note, at the same show, his stablemate, Limited Edition of Genesis (link), stood alongside him to be named the ‘2013 Reserve Junior Champion Weanling’. Of course winning is in Avion’s genetics—his full sister from 2012, Aurelia of Genesis, was the 2012 ‘Reserve Junior Champion Weanling’ at the same show the previous year. In the very competitive pleasure SIP Class, Avion took 2nd place out of over 20 entries! This was a huge accomplishment for such a young foal and Avion’s placings helped to earn his sire, Alfa of Genesis, his 2nd AHR ‘Stallion of the Year’ title in...
