Stand Up of Genesis

standup1 “Stand Up” was imported into the United States from Germany by Genesis Farm in December of 2007.

Stand Up brings new bloodlines to the United States combined with powerful and explosive movement. Stand Up’s sire, Standard, has produced many champions and outstanding individuals that compete with the more established ‘A’ and ‘W’ line horses in Europe. He is known for passing along exceptional movement, clean bone and correct conformation and Stand Up has all of these attributes. Standard’s sire, the great ‘Steinadler’, was the European Champion in 1997 and the National winner of Germany in 1998. He also won his individual riding and driving tests as a three-year-old and is one of the most successful dressage haflingers in all of Germany. He is world-renown for his exceptional movement, athleticism and ability to pass these traits to his offspring and beyond. Movement is a very dominant trait in this family line!

standup2Stand Up’s dam, ‘Sturmfee’, won the northern Germany breeding show in 2001. She is known for performing flawless riding and driving tests in Germany. She is titled as a ‘Staatsprramienstute’, which is to compare to the elite mares in Austria. She also has two daughters that are categorized as ‘Staatsprramienstuten’. Her sire, ‘Aurach’, was inspected and selected in Ebbs in 1996 and is considered the best driving haflinger in Germany. The mating of Standard-Aurach offspring is an exceptional cross that has produced such champions as the Reserve National Champion of Belgium. Prominent haflinger farm, Haflingers of Karlsbad in Germany, has a Standard-Amadeus mare as one of their prominent herd sires that is named ‘Standing Ovation’. Standing Ovation was the most popular stallion in Germany in 2007.
