Fashionably Late of Genesis is a 2010 filly that is worth all of the sleepless nights that we spent watching the foal monitor and anticipating her arrival!
“Fiesta” is sired by our AHR GOLD classified and 3-time AHR National Champion Stallion, Alfa of Genesis. Alfa sired 4 fillies in 2010 and Fiesta is one of them.
Fiesta’s dam is the lovely mare, Fire and Ice AMS. Fire and Ice is sired by Aristique TOF, who himself is a 2-time AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’ and he was also the 2005 AHR ‘Stallion of the Year’. Aristique’s father is Aristocrat TOF who was imported from Austria and he is also a former AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’. Aristocrat the only other AHR GOLD classified stallion in the country besides Alfa of Genesis and he and Arno are the only two AHR ‘Elite Status’ stallions in the country. Fire and Ice’s dam is the mare Fantasia RVF who is sired by Nobleman TOF. Nobleman himself, an Austrian import, is also a former AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’. Fire and Ice’s show career was tragically cut short by an accident that left her permanently lame and therefore she could never be shown or classified in order to prove herself. However, she has two full sisters that were both scored high silver in 2009. Fire and Ice’s 2009 stud colt, also out of Alfa of Genesis, was the 1st place Weanling Stallion at the 2009 AHR National Show.
Fiesta has the trademark bright metallic color of her sire and dam. She inherited Alfa’s attractive head and his powerful hindquarters.
Fiesta’s show ring debut was at the 2010 AHR Futurity. Fiesta won 1st place in the competitive ‘Senior Weanling Filly’ class and she later went on to be named ‘Senior Champion Weanling’ (alongside Niagara YES, a Genesis Farm stallion prospect, who took ‘Reserve Senior Champion Weanling’). Later that same day, in the pleasure SIP class with more than 20 weanling entries in attendance, Fiesta won 2nd place.
The future looks very bright for Fiesta based on the fact that winning and high classification scores are abundant in her genetics. Fiesta has at least one former AHR ‘National Champion Stallion’ in every generation of her pedigree! Plus, she already has some serious titles under her belt from the 2010 AHR Futurity. She is being offered for sale to an approved home.
