Rumor Has It of Genesis (AHR 32467-12) was born in February 2012.
‘Rumor’ is sired by the great Arno van het Hieshof, the only AHR ‘Supreme Status’ stallion in North America and out of the great-producing AHR Silver Classified mare, Raphael Rose TOF.
Rumor’s sire, Arno van het Nieshof, bears little introduction as one of only two stallions in North America to earn his AHR ‘Elite Stallion’ status and the only stallion in North America to earn the AHR ‘Supreme Stallion Status’ based on the merits of his offspring. Arno was imported from Holland as a yearling by Genesis Farm. Since entering the United States, Arno has been named the two-time American Haflinger Registry ‘National Champion Stallion’ as well capturing FOUR consecutive ‘AHR Stallion Of The Year’ titles. Perhaps even more impressive though is Arno’s ability to pass on his superior attributes to his offspring and this uncanny ability is witnessed time and time again as his offspring win in show rings around the country and are some of the highest scoring horses at the AHR Inspection and Classification sites every year.
Rumor’s dam, Raphael Rose TOF, is the result of the very first AHR “Gold on Gold” cross by the well-known AHR GOLD classified stallion, Aristocrat TOF, and out of the AHR GOLD classified mare, Rivella TOF. “Raphael” was the 1st place weanling filly at the 2000 AHR National Show out of a very large field of entries. She also was the 1st place AHR Futurity Filly and then went on to be named AHR Futurity ‘Champion Weanling’. In 2001, Raphael was the 1st place Yearling Filly at the AHR National Show and also the ‘Reserve Junior National Champion Mare’. Raphael was AHR silver classified in 2009.
Rumor is the third foal that has been produced from the magical genetic combination of Arno and Raphael. The prior two siblings, Rendezvous of Genesis and Accolade of Genesis, have won many noteworthy titles and awards in the show ring, including the 2011 AHR SIP Overall Champion and the 2012 AHR National Champion Stallion.
Rumor started out her show ring career by being the 1st place Senior Weanling Filly at the 2012 AHR Futurity. She then went on to be the 2012 AHR Futurity Senior Weanling Champion. If that was not enough blue and purple ribbons to adorn the front her stall, she went on to be awarded the title of the overall pleasure SIP Champion Foal out of more than 20 entries. Rumor was considered to be the best weanling foal at the show for 2012! This was even more remarkable because Rumor’s win marked the second consecutive year that a foal out of Arno and Raphael secured this overall SIP Champion Foal title—a testament to the quality of the genetic cross we have been making at Genesis Farm!
In 2013, Rumor continued her winning ways. She was the 1st place Yearling Filly at the 2013 AHR National Show.
At the 2013 AHR Futurity, Rumor won the Yearling Filly class and then was named 2013 AHR Futurity ‘Champion Yearling’.
